Having
owned a landscaping company for many years, I am
all too familiar with the frustration of calls from
clients who lacked gardening knowledge and were
incapable of caring for their new plants. After
all, if they were gardeners, they possibly would
not be hiring your services!
To
help my clients, I began compiling the plant
database in 1994, and would created a CD which
included only the plants incorporated in a
particular design. Since that time, the database
has expanded to be as fully inclusive as possible -
and is continuously expanded. I am no longer in the
landscaping business.
We
appreciate that some plants you install may not be
included in the database, but in that instance, we
will add the plants to the database.
Please
note that our database includes few tropical plants
other than those nationally available for use as
annuals, and therefore is unsuitable for customers
who garden only in tropical weather zones
11+.

How
We Customize The Software For You:

Compiling
a comprehensive plant database for use in software
involves many years, and the purchase of a complete
database can be cost prohibitive for sporadic use.
With
these considerations in mind, we make our software
available in a customized format for use as a
promotional and/or marketing tool.
The
software is customized with references to the JKP
Company removed, and the title English Cottage
Gardening - American Style changed to a generic
name. You may choose the title.
Your
company information replaces the intro section of
the CD, and links included to your website (if
applicable), and company contact information is
included, with a thank you from you to your
customers for their business.
If
you have a website, we can copy the information and
images to be included on the CD.

We
appreciate that you possibly do not need large quantities of
the software, unless your organization is nationwide.
Therefore, once the software is customized to suit your
needs, you can email your order for the software in small
quantities, or individually, as the needs arise. Your CD(s)
will be mailed to you within 24 hours, or directly to your
customer if preferred.

note that the database is not for sale but is
leased to you and is not available for production
or sale other than by the JKP Company.
