Even
toddlers appreciate plants. Right, a family member is
entranced by Salvia sclarea,
Clary sage.

Wrote
Connie Krochmal, journalist and horticulturist,
"This easy-to-use software takes the guesswork
out of gardening."

"Everything you possibly need to know about
choosing, growing and selecting plants for cottage
(flower) gardens is found here. Some software may
try our patience, but happily that isn't the case
with ECG-AS for PC."

It's
not what the English plant that makes
their gardens so distinctive, it's where
and how they plant. No patch of soil
remains bare for long.

Blank
walls are strung with wire and every
imaginable vine or shrub trained to grow
up them. Fruit trees and hedges serve as
living trellises for clematis, roses and
other climbers. Plants are grown over,
under, around and through each other,
creeping out and softening the hard lines
of walls and steps.

Some
software allow users to import house
photographs into the software, then select
plant icons to position around the photo
to help visualize the finished effect.
Another type of software 'grows' the
plants over 3 or 4 years providing a
mature view of the plants and trees. Such
software is often up for auction because
once used, they are of no further
value!
----However,
if your goal is to transform your property
into a tapestry of color with an abundance
of plantings, it is important to find
plants which will thrive in your unique
garden conditions. To find those plants
and learn how to care for them is the goal
of our software.
-----Gardening
is a lifetime project not to be undertaken
lightly. ECG-AS is an interactive
gardening encyclopedia on CD-ROM, designed
to teach and inspire. Gardening customers
tell us they refer to their CD-ROM on a
regular basis for ideas and inspiration
when planning new flowerbeds, for the more
we learn about gardening the more we
recognize how little we know. It is a
continual learning process. We hope you
decide to join our every increasing group
of satisfied customers.
