It will accept a little sun. Unfortunately, it is not long lived lasting 2 to 4 years maximum. D. cordatum 'Finesse', 3-inch blossoms, later blooming. D. cordatum 'Magnificum', 2-1/2 inch blossoms, a taller variety. D. cordatum 'Miss Mason', free flowering to July. D. cordatum 'Spring Beauty', a double, deep yellow which is earlier to bloom.
